A Message from Senator David Norris

I am delighted to be Patron of An Lár TV. During the recent Leaders Debate as Gaeilge on TG4 I learnt a couple of new words. One of the most interesting was lárnach which means central but was translated as essential and I would very much hope and envisage An Lár TV will become part of the essential viewing for those interested in communities and social enterprise. Already the interest groups involved range from Celtic Mythology to Catholic Grandparents.

The values espoused by An Lár TV are integrity, inclusiveness and innovation and these values will be seen to be at the heart of the rebirth of Ireland from its current difficulties.

Best wishes

Senator David Norris
